After the Japanese conquest of Malaya ,Singapore & Indonesia in 1942. Naval cooperation was established between Axis partners, Germany, Italy & Japan with the intention to use ports of these occupied countries to attack Allied ships in the Indian Ocean. German submarines (U-Boats of the Monsun Gruppe) used the ports of Penang, Singapore, Jakarta & Surabaya to conduct a devastating yet complex war against the Allies.This is their story. |
